about me

A summa cum laude graduate of the famed Fashion Institute of Technology of New York, Jeffrey started his interior design career with renowned designer Clodagh. Starting as an intern during school, he was hired full-time upon graduation. He became the first employee of the firm straight out of school to have his initial project published. His career path has included working for Kristen McGinnis, another New York powerhouse interior talent, with architect, Barry Goralnick, who is part of the Design Collaborative Group, and collaborations with Geoffrey Moussas of design1st in Kyoto, Japan.
Jeffrey's work with others have included a showhouse roof garden with Clodagh, design of a Hamptons home and UES apartment with Kristen, and creating am UWS maisonette with Barry. Other collaborations include a renovation of a Park Avenue apartment, the design of a restaurant and its furnishings, and the conversion of an office in a traditional machiya into a vacation rental apartment, the latter two in Kyoto, Japan.
Jeffrey defines his style as contemporary and modern, but not cold. He strongly feels his projects must reflect his clients needs and personality, while infusing his own point of view that will complement theirs. Through his schooling and time at Clodagh, Jeffrey has developed a sensitivity to the green movement. Preserving the environment and living in a toxic-free home is important. He does realize that many green products may still come at a premium, and is not appropriate for every budget. If you are interested in living as green as possible, or want to introduce principles of feng-shui to your space, he can accommodate those wishes.
